When Ron goes to Romania with his family for the summer, Harry is left at the Durleys. Hermione, who is having trouble adjusting to the muggle word again, decides that they can help each other and invites Harry to spend the summer at her house. As the summer progresses the two teens begin to have different fellings for one another. Once they return to Hogwarts, things really start to get out of hand.

Harry and Hermione begin to realise that thier feelings towards one another may have changed

Harry has a nightmare and Hermione comes to his rescue. They each make a few discoveries that leave them even more confused than they were.

Harry and Hermione plan to meet Ron in Diagon Ally to do thier school shopping. The only problem is that Ron knows nothing about thier summer together, including the contents of thier school letters.

I never knew, he never let on. “Harry?” her voice suddenly changed. It was more urgent, it held a secret. He grunted to show he was listening.

Harry and Hermione finally find out what thier special request is, that's not all the discover however.

excerptThey were slightly self-conscious as the made the short trek to the Gryffindor table, but they were pleased to find Ron already there. Unfortunately, when they reached him, they discovered he wasn’t in the best of moods. His ears were turning pink, and he was glaring at them through a furious scowl.

With the events of the previous night still fresh in their minds, a very happy Hermione, and a very relieved Harry find they have to let Ron know about the new change of events.

Harry and Hermione enjoy a few peaceful moments together, but the time in between is filled with anxious thoughts.

The trio meets their new Potions master, Harry conducts Gryffindor's first practice, Harry convinces Hermione to try something new, and Hermione and Ginny finally discuss the details in little detail.
