Draco has just finished his first year at Hogwarts, to be greeted at King's Cross Station by his parents. He can sense his father's disapproval, and feels unable to live up to the expectations put upon him. When they make a quick stop by the house of an old friend of Lucius's, Draco finds a Demiguise imprisoned there. Taking pity on the creature, Draco takes it with him, hiding it from his parents. But he doesn't realize just how much of a burden he has put on himself...
