A/N: I know Blaise is a boy, but I wrote this fic long before we JKR announced his gender, and by then it seemed pointless to try and fit it into the story.

It's time for Blaise to board the Hogwarts Express, and eventually to be Sorted. She gains an enemy almost as soon as she steps on the train, and gets Sorted into Slytherin - learning a few things about herself.

We skip to Blaise's third year - learn about her friendship with the Weasley twins, her loathing for Malfoy, and her love for pranking.

Blaise's third year Christmas turns out to be more exciting than she bargained for. What with an unexpected present, from an even more unexpected person, and a cute little black kitten, it looks like Christmas is just the beginning of a new chapter in Blaise's life.

Blaise is back at school for her fourth year, and things are really starting to hot up. The famous Triwizard Tournament has come to Hogwarts, the school is buzzing with rumours, and Harry Potter gets selected as a fourth champion? Looks like this year's going to be as memorable as the last.

After the Yule Ball debacle, Blaise is feeling unhappily vindictive towards Malfoy, not to mention the fact that she wants to punch Pansy's pug face. And when Malfoy eventually tries to talk her round, she's in no mood to hear it.

Interestingly enough, Blaise comes across a half-naked Draco in the middle of the night. Explanations and a furious Pansy make an appearance.

There's a surprise in store for Blaise, and Pansy is, once again, in the thick of things. Blaise always knew Pansy was a whore, but she never knew she was a backstabbing bitch ... or did she?

Draco isn't speaking to her, Lydia still doesn't know about Pansy and Jeff, and she's been banned from Hogsmeade next year. So, when someone completely unexpected - and a tad unwelcome, too - arrives at the Kensingtons', Blaise is in no mood to play nice.

Draco and Pansy are apparently back together, Lydia is still infatuated with Jeff, and Blaise still isn't sure about her father - and all of this is before she even steps onto the Hogwarts Express. But something happens later, which makes all of that seem trivial.
A/N: In this chapter and the next (chapter 20) I'm sticking with some of the plot from HBP - namely the Draco-is-a-Death-Eater bit. However, some things are different from HBP, so it's mostly AU.

In the aftermath of Snape killing Dumbledore, Blaise wonders where Draco is, and whether Lydia is ever going to forgive her.
