Ron sat on his bed, arms wrapped around his drawn up knees, watching Harry as he entered the dormitory. Harry stopped, looking back at Ron. Something was wrong, he could tell. ***Please review!***

“That’s what you wished for?” “Yes!” Harry said, defensively. “What’s so wrong with that?” “Oh, you miss understand me, Harry.” Hermione said, still smiling at him. “I wished that you would kiss me, Mr. Potter.”

All around him grey blooms of smoke rose from little spouts of guttering fires, coming to him only as bright flickers of red on black. His fingers touched something and he groped blindly for it,. It was the edge of Harmonies cloak. He reached out and touched her arm. “Hermione?”

A light rain was falling from a sky swirled over with massing clouds.The street was already muddy and the windows of the Leaky Cauldron looked streaked with steam as they turned the corner and left it behind. Harry wondered if that would be the last time he would ever see Diagon alley.

Draco reached for the doorknob and jerked it open before Harry realised what he was doing. The chain stopped the door only a couple inches open, letting in the vague yellow glow of hall lights.

“Where’s Potter?” Draco was awake and Hermione ignored the question. She sat on the patio overlooking the gloomy, dirty street below her, rows of identical houses stretching to the horizon. There were two chairs and he sat down on the one next to Hermione though she didn’t turn to look at him. But nor did she move away.

“I have a name you know.” Harry frowned, blinking in the light streaming in from the open window.
“What?” “I have a name, Harry.” Harry yawned and flung off the blanket. “So?” “So, you could call me by my name.”
“Now were calling each other by our first names? Since when?”
