Prologue. Satine goes through the melancholic process of reminiscence as she remembers everything that has happened to her and everything that will happen to her very soon. This is where she has ended up after so many years of what she has done in her life. The next chapter will be the beginning of the entire story and will explain how she has ended up where she was in the end.

Eyes Are The Windows To The Soul. After being sorted into the right house, Satine tries to adapt to the new atmosphere that she is placed in. After the first class that she attends, she finds new things within her that she never knew about before. As well, certain moments of her future are foreshadowed and they don't turn out as bright as Satine would like them to be. What is there to become of Satine when she is brought to a place that she has been trying to hide from her entire life?

There Is Not Enough Darkness In All The World To Put Out The Light Of Even One Small Candle. On the verge of dark decadence, Satine is compelled to make the choice that becomes a rather large obligation to her standards. What happens when she is sent to complete the task at hand? And when she finds out who she is actually dealing with in the picture, how will she react?
