I knew there were a few vases in the common room. When I entered the common room, I grabbed the nearest one and threw it. It crashed against the wall, and shattered. Like my heart did when Petunia glared at me when we found out I was a witch. I grabbed the next one. It shattered just like my heart did when I came home from a friend's house during the summer to find mum and dad dead. I threw another, and felt it shatter like my heart did every time I remember how dad used to hold me and cuddle me whenever I was upset, and and I realized I would never feel his warm embrace again.

We jerked our heads that way, and saw a pair of bright yellow eyes staring at us, coming slowly forward. My heart was racing. He pulled me back, and stepped between it and me. Slowly it came into the moonlight. I gasped as it began to emerge. It was a giant tiger. It's teeth were bared, and it started to growl again. I whimpered, realizing I had left my wand on my bedside table...
"I looked it in the eye, and saw something I've seen many times in my own eyes." I said. "What was that?" He asked. "The need to be understood. To be excepted for who we are. To be loved."

“You’re not going to give this a rest, are you, miss Evans?” She asked.

“Not until you let me go, no ma’am.” I replied.

“Fine! Leave!” She said, and went back to her office. I looked over at Remus. He was shaking with silent laughter, a smile on his lips, shaking his head.
