That’s right, I was now at the feet of the notorious playboy Sirius Black, making my brother James Potter and making me Madelyn Potter, James Potter’s twin sister.

Sirius had made his usual amount of comments towards me. James had laughed his ass off at most of them. And my parents had chuckled saying something like “kids will be kids”.

Okay, you know what? I’m going to head him off before he completely embarrasses me. He should know by now that a Potter doesn’t take their pride getting stomped on very lightly.*

“Mads, come on. You‘re talking to James Potter, the most infamous bullshitter in the world. You really think I don’t know that what your saying is a lie. You are barely touching your favorite meal in the entire world and you just spent your last day at the beach upstairs in your room, cleaning nonetheless...

I took extra precaution in curling my long , brown hair and only using a bit of hairspray so as not to repeat the disaster of 4th year when I used too much and had to spend an entire day with a humungous, white girl afro. I even did my make-up which was definitely a big one. And I only poked myself in the eye once with the mascara wand which totally gets me some points.

No guy had ever broken Madelyn Potter’s heart before and Sirius Black was definitely not going to be the first! I would win him back using my good looks and winning personality…okay so maybe just my winning personality but you get the picture. Now all I needed was a plan and I’d be good to go.

“Hey Sirius, Addison. How is Hogwarts’ cutest couple today?” I asked sweetly.


“Oh we’re just great. Aren’t we, Siri” Addison gushed.


“Fabulous,” Sirius commented, a little too eagerly.


“Well, that’s just dandy, isn’t it?” I said...

 A silence that led us to falling asleep in each other’s arms close to the breaking of dawn until the sun had finally made it’s way clear above the horizon. *Why can’t things just stay this way* I thought to myself just as I was drifting off to sleep beneath a big willow tree, snuggled in Sirius’ arms.

“Black, I know that you are little slow but let’s think about this for a minute. Where would a Ravenclaw go?” Lily asked me sarcastically.


I admit that it took me a few minutes to think of the answer but then it hit me.


“The library!” I exclaimed. I said a quick goodbye and set off in a run to the library.

My ears perked up at the mention of chocolate and butterbeer and I turned my head to Alice and said, “Well, maybe that would help a little,” I reasoned, hoping that I didn’t sound like I was too easily bought.
