After her parent’s death, they had contacted her in Bulgaria; they had said in their letter that she had a special talents and she would greatly appreciate training at this new school. Eva Zdravkov loved Bulgaria, she had lived there all of her life but when her parents died last summer she had found living in her own house unbearable.

As Eva sleeps, she’s visited by parts of her past. Some beautiful and happy but most terrible things she hoped she could forget in England. Troubled even more by the snake she wears around her neck, Eva finds it increasingly difficult to sleep.
