It is the morning of Valentine's Day.   Marietta Edgecombe wakes up rather grumpy and doesn't understand why.   She is beginning to feel things towards her best friend that she knows she shouldn't be feeling.   Afraid, she races outside in an attempt to sort her emotions out and for a bit of solitude.   However, she's not afforded such luxury, and her hold on her already raging emotions finally breaks.
