Sara Knight, although only just over eleven years old, was incredibly mature and intelligent for her age.  She was firmly based in reality and saw the world in very clear definitions; unusual, for an artist.  Her entire world was placed within the confines of the dark charcoal lines that defined her drawings.  She judged everything by what she saw, and she saw more than most.  Beyond seeing, she understood.  And it was this understanding that served her so well on this particular Tuesday.

 In which Sara addresses her mother's death, but not the fact that she thinks she is crazy.  But it's a step in the right direction.
