Caitlin Bell lazily opened her eyes. It was still night, no time to be awake. She rolled over and snuggled closer to her boyfriend of just over a year, Sirius Black, the soft pit- pat of the rain lulling her back to sleep…

BOOM!

“This isn’t about us Cait, it’s about Sirius not telling me something of this magnitude!”

“SIRIUS DOESN’T KNOW!” Caitlin bellowed. James deflated faster than popped balloon. They stared at each other for a full minute.

“What don’t I know?”

“Oh get over yourself Caitlin. All you are is a skirt with a smile that gets her whatever she wants. I’m wishing on every star I know right now that you don’t have a girl so she won’t be a carbon copy of you!”

James was looking in the window of a muggle sports store when something cold and wet collided with the side of his head.

He spun around, his face contorted with rage, his eyes scanning the street for the person who dared throw a snow ball at him. His eyes locked onto a certain red headed devil who was examining her nails as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.

“Well” James said “Here goes nothing.” He pushed open the double doors and the six of them stepped out into the world

Sirius jumped into the elevator before the doors even opened all the way and pushed the ‘door close’ button until the doors closed. A middle aged witch was looking at him oddly.

“I’m going to be a dad today.” Sirius told the witch, as if that explained his odd behavior.

“Merlin help you” the witch said taking a step away from him.

“How long were you planning on staying again brother?” Sirius asked pulling Caitlin closer to him. He felt her breath on his neck and her electric fingertips on his chest. His stomach squirmed unpleasantly at the thought of being in Ireland, surrounded by veela who had no sense of courtesy when it came to their voodoo veela magic.

“I’m going to man the fort until you three get back, I’ll stay another couple of days, then I’m off to school. Why big bro? am I getting in your precious hair?” Regulus asked smiling

Sirius' mind was reeling. He was so full of white hot anger and adrenaline that if he didn't hit someone right that very second he would surely explode. There was only one person he wanted to hurt at that moment. He speed-walked up his front walk, whipped out his wand, and waved it so his door flew open with a bang.
