Harry & Draco find something in each other during their seventh year at Hogwarts. Love, however, is tricky. And life, however, has other plans.

"Rekindling is an art, not to be taken lightly." -Draco Malfoy

"That's not true. And you go into things too deeply, so deeply they don't even make sense anymore." Harry frowns. "Maybe, they never made sense to begin with." I smirk and walk away.

"My hands dig into the dirt and dead leaves. My mouth opens and fills the air with silent screams."

"Have faith in me one last time.' I keep my voice level. There will be plently of time to tear him limb form limb...."

"Every step send bolts of pain through every inch of skin, but I run because it is the only thing that makes me feel free."

"Does it hurt?" He asks "Not as much as I've hurt you, don't worry." I smirk

"Dangerous, eh? I'll see about that, shall I?" Draco says recklessly.

Nervously, I turn around. In front of me there is a mirror. I can see my reflection, only I'm not seeing me. I see Draco Malfoy. I lean in, so I'm barley an inch away from the glass that shows me as Draco. I stare into silver eyes.

"Either one Gryffindor is a coward, or one Slytherin is brave. Quite possibily, though, you're both being stupidly brave, and bravely stupid. Draco, which ever you are, why do this for what you preceive to be love? You realize you'll be losing your love, don't you?" He asks dangerously. "At least I had love to lose." Draco smiles bitterly.

"You love me don't, you?" I ask him, already knowing the answer. "Yes." he says slowly, as though not sure what to expect. He must be feeling a bit vunerable. I won't take advantage of it, not today. I'm not feeling like myself right now, whoever myself is.

The thought that everything we've been through was all in vain, was nothing that could amount to anything and that he never really loved me is too cruel to even consider.
