My eyes were shocked and wide-open and I felt completely helpless against the wall. My hands itched to push him away, but before I convince myself, he was off of me. He smiled and took my hand again, like he did that often. I was shell-shocked, and he just continued walking me to class.

"I KNOW! BUT AT LEAST I LIKE MY BOYFRIEND!" I was speechless. She folded her arms and looked smug. My eyes darted to the staircase and I saw Lucius standing there. He looked confused. "At least I don't have to lie and make excuses so I don't have to spend time with him. At least I don't hang out with my sister to get away from him. At least I enjoy kissing him!" My eyes darted back and forth from Lucius and Andromeda. I would have to get better at this fighting thing.

A lot of people underestimate the power of the surname. Everything lies in the surname, especially in pureblood society. That's why we have so many children. All families want the surname to live through the ages. The Black Family has an extremely powerful surname, we're at the same level as Malfoys, if not a little higher. Lottie's family, the Callahan Family, was not so powerful. Lottie was lucky in that she was able to coax her way into marrying into a high-class family. But that was always Lottie. She wanted more than she had, even if she had everything.
