George Weasley copes with Fred's sudden death...
George Weasley however sat quite motionless as he looked at his twin’s once cheerful face. He felt no need to cry because tears would do nothing to fix the situation at hand. No need to scream because what good were screams when your brother lay dead upon the cold, hard, stone floor.

George does something that maybe wasn't so unexpected and Ron and Hermione spend some time together...He had known it would be a long shot to come and search for the blasted thing but something in him had pulled him out of his bed and led him to where he was now…something stronger than his physical self had drug his feet to this too familiar castle, had knocked him to his knees in the middle of the Forbidden Forest, and had him digging through dirt and bugs and who knew what else to find it.
