In which the soon-to-be-marauders meet for the first time, somebody starts off an arguement about Quidditch teams and Gloria and Sirius connect in a way that is both painful and dangerous when Severus Snape is nearby........

In which Gloria displays super human strength, Snape gains a bald patch, James and Sirius get intimate with manure, Remus is good-natured and the Marauders take the first step along the road to prankdom.

 

“I’ll be there,” Gloria promised in a whisper, “When the moon sets Remus, I’ll come.”

 

She could tell he was trying to gather the strength to protest, but she had also known him long enough to realize that he wanted her there when he woke up in the morning.

To protest was proper, and he did, sounding forlorn and empty. He was just saying what he was supposed to say.

It didn’t matter.

They both knew she’d come anyway.
