Lightening flashed in the distance and rain poured down as the thunder boomed. Water ran down the gutters and into the streets. Trees swayed back and forth with the wind howling above everything. The faint sound of a woman screaming and a window being broken could barely be heard above all the noise. No one noticed a girl jump out the window and sprint down the alleyway.
