Beams of light flood my eyelids. I open them softly wishing that they rays would come later during the day. I turn to my left and see Blaise there. His eyes are peacefully closed and a slight smile played across his tan face. I roll over and place my arms around his bare chest. I move my head to rest it on his shoulder. I can feel his strong arms wrap around me. It makes me feel so safe, protected, loved.

“ Gees, you act like we are married,” I teased in remembrance of what happened earlier that morning

 

“Ha ha, your really funny,” Blaise said monotone. Then we stopped and he spun me around. “On the count of three you can open your eyes,” He whispered into my ear. “One…” he said slowly. “Two…Three…” and he removed his course hands from my face.

“Last time I checked it was our wedding,” Blaise said curtly.

“There won’t be one if you invite those people,” I said harshly. Blaise looked at me with his mouth wide open. Like he was in shock that I said those words. I gave him a daring expression to test my patients.

“Brynn?’’ he asked

“Yeah,”

‘‘It’s official now we definitely act like we are married.” He said humorously

I let out a giggle, “Blaise I love you so much you have no idea,”

I felt like dying, that seemed better then this torture. I felt like I welcomed the feeling of nothingness that slipped into my body. The knives still dug into my skin with inevitable force, I screamed one more time hoping that someone would hear me.

I was so startled I let out a scream.

“Oh come on my hair is not that scary,” was what I think he meant to say, but he was brushing his teeth so it sounded so much different.

“Blaise will you hand me a towel please.” I asked sweetly.

“How about I don’t and you let me be you towel.” He joked.

“Brynn, I love you” he said

“Blaise, I love you too, come back to me,”

“Beloved, you can believe in me,” and with that he disapperated into thin air.
