Caroline smiled up at Katie and Katie smiled weekly back. “Nice to meet you, Katie. Nathan has told me loads about you.” She said in a proper British accent.

“Nice to meet you too, Caroline.” Katie said politely, she stepped back and Nathan gave her a confused expression. “Excuse me, but I need to find my sister.”

Katie turned away from the two of them and practically ran out of the room.

“Well Evans, if we knew then we would have surely told you.” Sirius remarked sarcastically and Lily narrowed her eyes at him.

“Lily,” Remus stepped in, “we really don’t know why she’s here or how she ended up here; Dumbledore is going to try to find a way to get her back. But, until then, Katie’s stuck here at Hogwarts.”

“Lucky me.” Katie mumbled, looking away from all of them and Lily’s eyes softened.
