“Three…” I began my little count down and Sirius stared at me looking more then a little confused. “Two…” I continued. He finally got what I was doing and he started to run back toward the lake where James had his arms on the dock that were keeping him up. He was watching what Sirius was doing to me and was laughing the entire time. “One!” I screamed and ran after him.

“Morning, sleepy head!” I exclaimed as I sat on his back. His early morning moans and groans made me laugh.

“Alex? Is that you?” he questioned groggily as he lifted his as much as his tired body work let him and attempted to open his eyes to the bright, sunny room.

“Working on Arithmancy, Collins?” someone standing above me questioned. I looked up to see Lily Evans standing above me. She pulled out the chair on the opposite side of the table from me and sat down.

“What do you want, Evans?” I asked looking back down at my piece of parchment. I searched through my brain trying to come up with more people that I could calculate to see if our numbers matched.

“But Bridget graduated last year!” James argued. “We need the best Beater that Gryffindor has had in years! We need you back, Alex!” If I was the best Beater that we have had in years, then why hadn’t we won a single cup when I was on the team?

“Second best,” Sirius put his opinion in with a smirk.

“She can beat you with ease, mate,” James stated and I couldn’t help but chuckle. “We need you back on the team, Alex!”

“Ice cream isn’t a healthy breakfast, Mr. Black,” I commented as I saw that the bowl in his hands was filled with strawberry ice cream. I smirked up at him and he just smiled at me.

“Its strawberry,” he added and then put another scoop full in his mouth. “Fruit is good for you.” I couldn’t barely understand what he said because his mouth was filled with the ‘healthy’ ice cream. I couldn’t help but let out a small giggle. Why can I never laugh around this guy? It always comes out as a high pitched giggle!

“Morning, Jamie,” I replied with a smile as I started to pile food onto my plate.

“How are you this mor–“ James started.

“What was that?” Sirius rudely interrupted. He just kept glaring at me like I was a Slytherin. What the heck was up with this kid?

“You sure do have a lot of different names for being just one person,” she laughed and started to look through the clothes on the rack again. “I’m not as horrible as James probably told you,” she stated – sound somewhat depressed – without looking up from the shirt she was looking at.
