Turns out, that Prof Dumbledore has a plan to “get students to cooperate”, as Slughorn said. Dumbledore told all teachers to pair every student with someone they don’t like and don’t get along with. Why? So that by the end of the year, they will be able to get along with each other, and hopefully understand the behavior they portray to each other.
Yeah, it makes no bloody sense what so ever.
