Valora's life collapsed around her sixteen years ago. she lost her best friends, her godson and the love of her life. now she's come back and she wants to fix everything, and everyone she left broken. But first, she needs to repair herself.

Valora is once again becoming used to dealing with the likes of Severus Snape, and Harry begins to wonder about his new teacher.

Valora isn't sure what's more complicated...the past or the present?

"The Half-Blood Prince? Quite a clever play on words there, Sev." she teased and kept reading. "Uhm...where's my name?" she asked quietly.

Valora is beginning to realize what she felt, what she still feels for Severus. It won't ever end. Her tensions are still high but with Severus all of it seems to melt away.

Valora lost him once...and now she wants him back...more than anything...but is it too late?

"Didn't you hear what I said? He's going to try and kill you. You embarassed him, mocked him, eluded him for years. You managed to trick one of the greatest wizards in history. Doesn't that mean anything?" Severus asked. Valora shrugged.

"I guess it means I'd better watch myself." she replied with a smile.

Valora and Severus go into the pensieve.

"We thought you were dead, Valora. The Dark Lord was quite surprised to hear that you were alive." The remaining deatheater taunted.

"Bloody hell. Who are you?"

Valora shrugged and put down her tea. "Mr. Weasley, I'm a woman, I'm a witch, and I'm Harry's godmother. Beyond that I haven't a sodding clue."

"Hello, Harry." Valora said warmly. Harry flashed her a brilliant smile and ignored Snape.

"Professor Nox, I was wondering if I could talk to you?" He looked pointedly at Snape. "Privately, of course."

"You, me and Potter. One big, happy family. That's how you want it?" Severus asked, looking skeptical. Valora paused and rested her hands on his chest so that she could feel his heartbeat thrumming steadily beneath her fingers, then she looked back up into his grey eyes.

"Yes." She said finally. That is exactly what she wanted.
