Tears spring to my eyes as I see my two little sisters starring wide-eyed at the scene in front of them, not understanding the meaning of it all. I shift my attention back to my father as he gingerly touches my mother’s forehead and mumbles something in her ear that I can’t quite understand. I flinch suddenly as she grasps my hand tightly and lets out a loud moan of pain.
