Lily had just gotten her trunk to the bottom of the stairs, and was putting on her white coat, when a loud voice came from the living room. “NO. NO NO NO! Mother I am not going to go and see off that freak. I think it’s a good thing that she’ll be gone. Anyway, I had planned on meeting Vernon, this afternoon, and I’m not going to allow the freak to ruin my plans.”


Lily just nodded. I know, she thought. It had always been like that.

“Hey, Evans. Are you Head Girl?” James Potter turned around and grinned at the four girls, Lily especially.

“What’s it to you?” she retorted.

“Well, you see,” he said, in a voice as smooth as silk, “I happen to be Head Boy, and it would be nice to know who I’m working with."

“Excellent,” Padfoot whispers.
I whip my head around. “Padfoot, what exactly are you planning?” I ask.
“You don’t want to know,” Moony answers.
“Yeah.” Wormtail agrees.
“I wouldn’t ask, James,” Frank says.
“Why is it that everyone knows about this but me?” I say angrily.
“Well,” Padfoot finally answers, “You’re Head Boy, and we didn’t want you ratting us out,”

CRUNCH

Lily screamed.
“Damn it, Evans, you bloody fell on top of me. Who knew a thirteen-year-old could weigh so much!” Potter shouted.
“That’s rich, coming from you, Potter! I think you bloody broke my arm.”
