It was really funny until I accidentally inhaled a dumpling and started choking. Katie had to pound me on the back to get the dumpling out of my esophagus, where it landed in my pumpkin juice.

I felt like I had just walked into a Christmas present.
That probably explains why I suddenly broke out into song:

“We’re going to make smoothies!”

“Yeah! You know, with a blender!” I began gathering up any fruits that hadn’t been thrown on the ceiling or had landed on the floor. “Grab those peaches!” I pointed at the peaches frantically.
