I have never known what they were like, what they did, who they were. For a while, these things bothered me. They made me feel confused, alone, deserted. I lost all sense of who I was, what I was doing with my life. Everyone told me all about them - how strong and courageous and brave they were. How they sacrificed their own lives for me, so that I could live in a better world. And for the strangest reason, I felt as though I had to live up to their legacy - for a while, I felt completely isolated.
