“Good morning. What’s up?” Lelja asked in calm voice. Aunt Manny  looked at Lelja crossing her arms at her, Lelja was confused at why she did that.

“What’s Quidditch?” She asked, her face still angry. Somehow a small smile formed on Lelja face which sent Aunt Manny off, but Lelja stopped her again before she began her tirade.

“Quidditch is a sport. Its kinda like your soccer but we fly on brooms. I played seeker 
for Ravenclaw.” 

“I know who you are Lelja Stanley. And I know why you were doing in the forest”. He said, glowering. “It’s not safe”. He added in the same tone.

Lelja smiled. “Let me guess you’re an vampire?”

He froze. His lips set in a tight line. His eyes were cold. 

“I knew it from the beginning I met you. When you handed me the bag, when Jessica told me you guys  vacation every summer. And the thing that gave you away, was your eyes. Their bloodshot red which means you were hunting with your family.

“Let me get this straight, you are dating Malfoy?” Lelja asked Sofia, who was nervously sitting across from Lelja.

Sofia nodded slowly. “Lelja, he’s really sweet-

“Sweet, my arse. For god sake Sofia, his father is an Death Eater”. Lelja pointed out, Sofia nervously looked away.

“Um, when are you going back to Figworts?” Jacob asked sadly.

“Its Hogwarts.” Lelja corrected him. “And I’m leaving on Aug 27.”

Jacob laid his head on my lap. “I have something to confess.”

Lelja froze.

“Never, I repeat, never stand in the way! Lelja, you could of gotten hurt!”. Jacob raged.

Lelja just stared at Jacob.

“Jacob, you two were going to kill each other, what was I suppose to do, stand by and watch?” Lelja lashed.

Edward muttered something. “You should of let them Lelja.”

Lelja broke eye contact with Jacob, to look at Edward. “Edward, not helping”.

Stefan wanted to hug Lelja to warm her, but sometimes he would forget he was an vampire. When he saw Lelja shiver, he knew he needed to bring her somewhere warm. Stefan shrugged off his jacket, handing it Lelja.

“Take it, Lelja.” Stefan demanded, holding it.

“I-I’m fi-fi-fine Stefan.” Lelja stuttered through her teeth. Stefan huffed, throwing the jacket over her shoulders.

Stefan bit his bottom lip.

“You didn’t say that a few minutes ago, in fact, you didn’t say anything your mouth was occupied.” Stefan responded.

“Ooh, I wish Jacob was here right now, I would let him kick your arse!” Lelja yelled back.

Stefan leaned in closer til they were inches away. “Call the mutt then.” Stefan’s cold air hit Lelja’s face.

“I-”. Lelja pulled back.

Jacob began to walk into the water, Daniel’s grip became tighter. “Come any closer, I swear I’ll gonna drop her!” Daniel raged loudly.

Jacob looked at Lelja, who was terrified. Jacob raised his hands showing he wasn’t going any farther.

“Don’t hurt her.” Jacob warned.

Behind Sam was Edward snarling, his face full of wrath. Daniel looked down at the human, the same one he was suppose to bring back to Aro.

Mila smiled. “You’ll have to excuse my sister.”

“No it’s fine, I’m one of the lucky ones.” Lelja said, shifting her leg.

“Why is that?” Mila asked.

“It’s not everyday someone survives a vampire attack.” Lelja said. Mila took a tray of food, placing it in Lelja’s lap. Mila sat across Lelja.

“I’m sorry.” Blair repeated the seventh billionth time.

Mila just looked at her, and walked out of the room. Blair was baffled, she got angry pushing all her anger into the wall. Lelja opened the door seeing Blair knuckles heal before blood ever got out.

“What do you want?” Blair hissed through her teeth. “It’s bad I have to baby sit you, now my own damn sister isn’t speaking to me because of you!”

Stefan stood up walking over to Blair, til they were inches apart. Blair took a step to the side. Blair looked at Jacob. “I will get Mila back. That’s a promise.” 


Stefan crossed his arms, walking back to his chair. “Promise me something.” 


Blair looked his way. “Yeah?”


“Leave Mila for me.”
