Excuse me for not being comfortable with having you in the bathroom while I’m naked in the shower!” Remus replied louder than he wanted to, which led to unwanted attention from the other Gryffindors.

Remus thought about the scenarios over and over in his head, when suddenly…he couldn’t help it, it just happened, the words just came flying out of his mouth. He didn’t want to say them, but his lips didn’t care.

It suddenly hit him, what he had done. It all came crashing down at him at once. He fell to the floor with tears streaming down his face.
“NO!”

“Is there something between you two because you look like an adorable couple?” Lily grinned.
Remus noticed that he still had his arm around Emilia. He carefully and quite awkwardly took it back as they sat down next to James.
It didn’t look like anyone had taken Lily’s question seriously, except for Sirius.

“Hey guys! There’s a fight starting up by the greenhouse!”
Theo Quark and Isaac Jameson came running up to them.
“What? Between who?” James asked as he sat up, intrigued.
“Sirius Black and Evan Rosier” They answered in unison.

“Stop!”

Evan turned around, causing his wand to break contact with Emilia. She couldn’t move her body. She was still in a lot of pain; she opened her eyes carefully to see who her saviour was. She didn’t expect it to be him.

James noticed Tony’s expression and said a sentence that Tony wasn’t sure if he was happy about or not: 

“Something’s happened to Evan.”

“That’s different,” Sirius chuckled.
“Yeah it is! You guys have your own little inside jokes and nicknames that no one can understand. That’s why I have the nicknames, because it makes me feel as if I have a bond with them too, that we’re close too!” Tony shouted.
“You’re Remus’ bloody boyfriend how much closer do you want to be?!” Sirius shouted back.

“I lost it…it was like everything went dark, I could still smell, feel, do but I couldn’t think…I remember reaching for my wand, mumbling a stunning charm…I almost killed him…”

“It’s enchanted you know… it protects its owner from small things like jinxes and even some hexes.” 

Remus smiled to himself; of course the object would have a hidden use, it didn’t surprise him one bit. 

“It doesn’t need to protect you from the big stuff because…I’ll always be there to do that when you need me.”

Evan walked carefully up to the very end of the cliff, looking out on the blood-red clouds mixing themselves with the black ones. A tear ran down his cheek as he forced himself to look down at Wilkies’ dead body disappearing amongst the waves. The water around him turning red as his blood oozed out of the many wounds caused by the rocks below. Evan watched as Wilkies’ body disappeared completely, driving out to sea.
