“I just… are you serious?” 

She rolled her eyes, more to herself than to Charlie. “Why does everyone always ask that when I tell them this? Look at me Charlie, do I look serious?” 

“Well… yeah, but I’ve only known you for twenty minutes. For all I know you could be a sociopathic axe murderer with a taste for ruggedly handsome gingers,” his blue eyes twinkled against his reddish face. 
 

“So do you think it would be a good idea to ask this friend out on a date, or do you think she might just end up blowing me off completely?”

“I don’t know,” she shrugged, “The worst that can happen is that she says no, right?”

Charlie nodded, “I know.”

“So…”
 

“I’m a wizard,” he shrugged, “Well, my whole family is really.”


“You’re a wizard?” she asked skeptically, “As in you are able to do magic.”
