“Kirsty Potter where the HELL have you been!” He demanded angrily. 

I didn’t respond. I was honestly dumbstruck: because standing in front of me yelling, and looking very hot I might add, was none other than Sirius Black. And did he just call me Kirsty Potter?
 
 
 
 
 
 

“Man, you just got owned!”

“Shut up!” James snarled, hitting him with a pillow.

Boys will be boys.

Bellatrix was screaming out in frustration.


“I’m bored of her!” Bella yelled. “Regulus! End this.”


Panic overtook me. This was it.


This was the end.


I was oddly okay with this. I let no emotion cross my face. I wouldn’t let them see. I held it all in.
 

I could get used to falling asleep in his arms.
 
 
 
 
 

“So Sirius, I guess I’ll be seeing you later then.” I said, sighing.


He raised his eye brows, knowing that it wasn’t like me to back down to anyone.


Ever.


No really, I’m that stubborn.

“Sorry Sir, but I think you must have made a mistake. You see Sirius isn’t in this class.” I told him.


“I haven’t made a mistake Miss Potter, you see, Sirius is not the Black brother to whom I was referring.”


And it was then that Regulus Black, the boy whom I had been ignoring and avoiding since the summer and the whole one day that I had been back at Hogwarts, walked up to my desk and sat down beside me.


“Hello Kirsty, you missed me?”

“Hey guys,” I interrupted their insane argument over who could be more chivalrous and let the other be the judge. “You can both do it! Leigh, you have the girls’ perspective, and Remus- you must be round about the same species as Casanova over there so you’ll make a great team!”

“I think you’ve really screwed up this time.”
 
 
 
 
 

“Stop interrupting me!” I snapped out loud, causing Lily to look at me weirdly. Woops, only meant to be talking in head. Sake Kirsty!
 
 
 
 
 

“Oh and Kirsty,” He looked back over his shoulder at me. “If you don’t turn up to this practice I’ll throw you over my shoulder and carry you down to the pitch.”

Even with the upcoming war they were happy. Darkness was looming, but in this one night, everything was okay.
 
 
 
 
 

 I acted spontaneously. I made a run at Lily and grabbed her, pushing her into the lake and jumping in myself, giggling like crazy.
