Gabriella Goyle, the one year younger sister of Gregory Goyle, had always been there, but it wasn't until Draco's seventh year at Hogwarts that he actually noticed her. Instead of talking to her himself, he goes to Goyle, asking questions about Gabby so that he can learn a bit more about her, and why she really is a Slytherin since she seems so interested in books and other things that are more qualities of a Ravenclaw.

When Draco sat at the Slytherin table that morning when the owls arrived, he had no idea that Gabriella would receive something and act so defensive when he asked what it was. On top of that, he was more shocked to learn that she was going to Hogsmeade with Blaise Zabini. Deciding to follow the two, he stumbled upon something unexpected and finds himself playing the part of the hero and the villian.

After the dinner that night, Draco did his prefect duties, wondering how parents could put up with all the kids. Then he headed to the Common Room to find that Gabby wasn't there either so he decided to relax by going to the Prefects bathroom and that's where he finds her. That's when something unexpected happens too.

After arriving at Goyle Manor, Draco finds himself quite surprised with his surroundings. It's unlike his own home, actually much bigger, and the house elf is treated with kindness. When he stays there, he learns just how bad Goyle Sr. really is and the things he has done to his family. Then something even worse happens, just because Gabriella falls asleep in his bed.

After everything happened at the meeting, and the death of a Goyle, a conversation is held about how it shouldn't have happened. However, Draco becomes suspicious when Gabriella starts to ignore Draco. He soon finds out what is going on, and it's definitely not a good thing.

Nineteen years later, Draco Malfoy is married and has children of his own. He never expected to have such a happy family, or happy life for that matter. Now that he does, he tries to not repeate the same mistakes from his past. When dropping off his oldest son, Scorpius, for his first year at Hogwarts, he runs into the one man who saved his life countless times and his family.
