The fifth years were still talking amongst themselves as if they did this on a daily basis. I stood at the end of the staircase and waited for someone to look up as I glanced over the top around the tops of my glasses.

This could not be happening, right? I went into a panic for this? I rubbed my eyes and readjusted my glasses on the bridge of my nose.

“Oh! Hi Sandra!” Ron Weasley greeted, stuffing his face with an unknown substance as he waved happily.

I sat back with satisfaction as Ron rubbed his face where I had smacked him. Gee, I really hoped a bruise showed up there.

“You’re going to let her get away with that, Professor?” Ron asked, obviously shocked that I had slapped him during class while Snape was there and was doing nothing about it.
