“Well, well, well, Scorpius, what have you done to yourself?”
“Nothing, apparently. I haven’t gotten my bachelor pad, my two best mates are off living their own adventures without me, and my father is trying to force me into getting a job right away.”
“Oh, how sad for the spoiled brat.”

Looking at Scorpius again, she caught him staring at her and both glared at each other before abruptly looking away. Yes, this summer was definitely going to be unbearable if things kept going on this way.

And neither of them knew whether that was a good or bad thing.

When Rose found herself inside of her dad’s home with Lavender and their young girls, Rose felt something foul filling her mouth. She always hated being near her stepmother who was an annoying blonde who couldn’t remember her real age. Her daughters, Vanessa and Beverly were quickly turning into spoiled brats who thought they were better than everybody. Even though both girls had the trademark Weasley freckles and Beverly looked just like Rose had as a little girl, Rose couldn’t stand her half sisters.

“I think you’re smitten with me, Mr. Malfoy,” Rose cooed.
“I think you’re right, Miss Weasley,” Scorpius replied. “But it’s really more like love.”
Rose gasped softly and looking into his eyes, the redhead could tell that he was quite sincere and she knew that he wouldn’t have gone this far with her if he didn’t have those kinds of feelings for her.
“Really?”
“Truly,” he said softly. “I’m falling hard for you, Rose, and I’m not ashamed of my feelings."

“Scorpius, do you think we’d be prepared for the stuff my brother and Beatrice are going through? Now that I have you, I don’t think I could lose you just because of our families’ disapproval.” She looked at him, her expression soft and loving. “I’m in love with you and I hate having to hide it.”

“Rose, you do know that I’m not letting go of you, right? You’re mine whether others like it or not and if that means living in exile, but staying with you forever, I wouldn’t darn well care."
