“Esme will be joining us? How delightful. I am very much looking forward to seeing her again. She was quite a handful last time I saw her.”
Minister Frithrik smiled from behind his goblet. “I should warn you, she has not outgrown her temper.”
Dumbledore laughed. “I sincerely hope not!”

 “SILENCE!” roared Dumbledore, and the noise slowly abated and boys slowly retook their seats. There was, however, a ghost of a smile upon the headmaster’s lips. “Mr Black, please retake your seat.”
But Sirius wasn’t listening. His heart was hammering painfully in his chest. He was taking this… creature in.

“Desperate times call for desperate measures.” Sirius said.
“Don’t do anything hasty, you’re not there yet.” Remus warned.
“She’s been here for two weeks and I’ve barely had one conversation.”
“Maybe she’s just not that into you.” James put forward.
“Prongs, get serious. This is me.”
