James and Jasmine head off to Hogwarts.
 
 

Jasmine rolled her eyes and stalked up the stairs to her room, earnestly ignoring the happy sounds coming from James’s room. She could hear Sirius’s barking laugh over the other three boys’ much tamer chuckles. The sound nearly made her burst in to tears. Of course they could be happy, they didn’t have to worry about letting down their entire families just because they were defective. With the tears nearly spilling over, Jasmine locked herself in her room.
 
 
 

“Nice attitude, Potter,” Lily muttered. She was about to head back upstairs before something stopped her. She turned around and stood in front of him, causing an abrupt end to his pacing, “You know, she might be hiding from you. She probably knows you’re in here waiting for her to walk through the door, just so you can interrogate her on were she’s been. Have you ever considered that you need to back off?” Lily finished breathlessly, finally telling James what she had thought of his over-protectiveness.
