If you want a fun, happy love story this will not be your cup of tea. If you wanted to read about how I fell in love with Draco and we lived happily ever after this may also not be the best story, it’s not completely sweet and sappy, it’s a lot of heart ache, and confusion.
 

Seeing him in person after all these years, and than hearing his voice made a lump in throat, I didn’t know if I would be able to speak. I was thinking I may end up being sick after all as he went through the list of names than suddenly he paused.

“Kaylie Zepher?” he asked appearing to sweat a little, his eyes scanned the room.


 

“Quite a show this morning.”

“Yeah I know.” I sighed. “Sorry about that.”

“It’s not your fault that you’re just that amazing that guys feel the need to fight over you.” he chuckled.

“Thanks Harry.” I responded sarcastically.

“I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it seems unfortunately whatever was going on this morning isn’t over yet.”


 

“Kaylie if I got up and just walked out, told you I wasn‘t coming back, what would you do?”

“Cry my eyes out huddled in my armchair.”

“Doesn’t that tell you something?”

“Yes that I am pathetic and after five years still cannot get over the boy, now a man, who devastated me and shredded my heart like a piece of parchment.” it came out pretty harsh and Draco looked at his feet.

“You have to choose,” Draco said, “Me or him? We can’t keep brawling like this and that’s what’s going to happen if the present situation persists.”

 

“Choose right now.”

 

“Well you don’t have to right now; I mean this was just thrust on you.” Greg smiled at me; he was trying to be sweet.

 

“No right now, I have to know Kay.”
 

The next morning I was awoken rudely and at an hour early, by Harry banging on the front door.



“We found Rookwood, but we have to go now!”



“Okay, okay, let me change.”



I rushed back upstairs got dressed and kissed Draco, “Gotta go found Rookwood, love you.”



He looked up half asleep, “Be careful love you too.”


 

Harry just shook his head, “Remind me why I don’t fire either one, or both of you?”

 

“We’re just too fabulous, besides whom would you replace us with Greg? Yeah he’s a barrel of fun.”

 

Harry and Ron both chuckled, “You’re wrong, the ONLY reason I don’t replace both of you is no one else wants your jobs.”
 

“That we do, that we do. That means we should probably get some rest huh? Why don’t you go home to a comfortable bed?”

 

I shook my head furiously, “I’m staying right here.”

 

He again let out a laugh, “Stubborn woman.”

 

“You’re the one who thinks you can deal with me for the rest of your life.”
 

“Kay, hey Kay,” Ginny said.

 

My eyes snapped open, “Sorry I was just thinking.”

 

“Not getting cold feet are you?”

 

“Of course not,” I chuckled.
