I sat as far away from my parents as possible at the long wooden table. Sirius sat next to me but Regulus, who was only a year older than me, sat right next to them and began an animated discussion. I shot him a dirty look. He was always the favorite.
 Sirius and I ate in silence. Mother ignored us other than punctuating our determined silence with a “Ophelia, get your hair OUT of your food,” or “Sirius, elbows OFF the table.” Regulus smirked at me from behind her and found himself with a face full of potatoes.

Great, she was starting the threats already. I really wish I knew a silencing charm, then I could make her shut up, and Regulus couldn’t stop me because he doesn’t know how to do one yet either.
“FINE! I’m LEAVING!” Sirius roared. Well there’s a first. Normally they’ll just go at it for another three hours until Sirius locks himself in his room and pastes up new pictures of Muggle girls in bikinis to tick them off.
