He could hear her crying over the sound of the rain and realization struck him. He had heard the same person crying in his sixth year while he passed a classroom. He peeked inside and saw a girl with bushy brown hair crying with birds fluttering about around her. It was something to do with the Weasel, he had heard. He had wanted to actually go ask her if she was alright but firstly, it would spoil his Slytherin image and secondly, Potter had beaten him to it.

The next time Hermione looked up,she was squeezed up beside Draco in a narrow,dark gap between two shops...a VERY narrow gap. Despite the fact that his body was awkwardly practically pressed against her's and their faces were about three inches away from eachothers,she felt a sudden urge to laugh. She suddenly began giggling like a mischievous little girl and Draco couldn't help but smile. He found the situation oddly funny as well and pursed his lips to prevent himself from laughing.
 
 
 
 
 
 

As he kicked off the ground,she felt his warm breathe against her ear as he said," Just trust me."



"I do", She breathed. She wasnt uncomfortable with him being so close. She frankly didn't know what she was feeling. She should have felt uncomfortable and nervous but instead she felt safe and secure with his arms on both sides of her.


 
 
 

They could have danced all night if it the song hadn't stopped. Hermione took a step behind and as did Draco,their eyes still locked. They had truly forgotten the universe as they danced,lost in eachother. They both knew it and could'nt deny it.There was absolutely No Place For Denial in either of their hearts.

With a small smile,Draco winked at her,turned around and walked out of the room.

"I'm here", I heard Draco say again.But this time no matter how far I felt his voice was,I knew he was beside me.He pulled me into his arms and held me close," Im not leaving.Pansy's getting help."


"I didnt...tell...him...I didnt...give up", I said.I knew I was losing conciousness.


"I know you did'nt,love", He said,kissing my forehead,"Youre so strong."

"What the hell do you think of yourself? Does dad know?! How could you do this to him?! He gave you everything!" Scorpius yelled.


"Scorpius-listen to me,this was necessary", Astoria said.


"What? Do you honestly hear yourself? This was necessary? Kidnapping us was NECESSARY?" Scorpius said,his voice brimming with anger.

"Fine,but if ANYTHING happens to Harry OR Ginny,I will kill you" Hermione threatened,simply and straight-out.


"You can do that", Jason nodded," because I'm sure I can contact them and get them here by lunch without exposing their location."


And he sounded bloody confident.

"I.. I don't want you to be near me right now..."


"Hermione, if you're scared you might hurt me because you aren't in a very good state or something, don't worry about it, okay? Im gonna be here for-" Draco said but she cut him off.


"That's not it. I just don't want you here. Near me. " She snapped, tears pouring down her cheeks. He reached forward to wipe them away but she turned her head away.

Those eyes. Those beautiful, beautiful eyes that he loved looking into.

This couldn't be happening...

Those eyes were currently empty... Staring ahead right at him, yet staring into nothingness.

His knees gave in and he collapsed to the floor, her body securely in his arms. He bent over and leaned his forehead against her's.

"She wouldn't have given to you, she would've-"


"Died if she did", Pansy said, completing his sentence again. Draco's head snapped towards Pansy and he asked, "What the hell do you mean?"


"The unbreakable vow", Hermione croaked out. Her brain was still working despite the torture she had just undergone.

Hermione shifted closer to him and wrapped her arm around his shoulders and leaned her forehead against his shoulder. She heard him take a shaky breathe before his shoulder began shaking. 


"Come here", She choked out, tears welling up in her eyes. He shifted on the sofa till his head was buried in her shoulder and her arms were around him, holding him tightly.
