‘Don’t flatter yourself with thinking I wanted to love’ Sirius shot back whilst curling a piece of his hair around his finger

‘God stop please my ears are burning’ Remus cried squeezing his eyes closed as he clamped his hands over his ears

 
 
 
 

Dumbledore strode confidently to the lectern, his midnight blue robes billowing around his lean body as his blue eyes glinted over the top of his half-mooned spectacles. Before he raised a hand to silence the hall Mia swore she saw his eyes flick to the marauders with a knowing glance and by the minute nod James gave back she was almost certain that the headmaster knew, to some degree, what was about to happen.
