Stomps came up the steps. I gave a sigh and turned to face the person. Alicia stood there before me and glared, her wand pointed at my heart. Her waist length chestnut hair was everywhere and her silver eyes showed it all.


It hurt to see her hate me, and even more that I had done this.  I looked down at my wrist to where the snakebite was. The venom would reach my heart any minute now.
