Prologue:
It didn’t start out like this. It was Lily’s sixth year and she had never been in this much trouble in her whole life. As she stood in front of the Headmaster she wondered where it all went wrong. It started out as a bit of fun with her friends. Well maybe fun wasn’t the best word to describe it right now but Lily bonded more with her friends this year than before. But now everything was a mess; Mary was in the Hospital Wing, Alice wasn’t talking to her, Valeria was missing and James...
Nothing would ever be the same.

  The first few weeks passed without anything major happening. Lily didn’t approach Valeria about the previous subject again because she seemed to go back to normal. In fact, the night after they talked Valeria and Sirius got into a screaming match in the common room. It ended with Valeria hitting Sirius with a curse that caused vines to grow around him till he couldn’t breathe.  Lily had to convince Valeria to do the counter curse and after Sirius was a delicate shade of blue she finally did.

 Sirius, James, Remus and Peter had come with Alice and Lily to visit Mary and Valeria during every break they had the day following Mary’s attack and Valeria and Sirius’ revenge. Mary was in the Hospital Wing still with the two third years just because Madame Pomfrey wanted to make sure they were stable. Valeria was still in the Hospital Wing because about ten minutes after Madame Pomfrey mended her arm she broke it again trying to punch Sirius. It ended with her snapping her fist against the wall instead of Sirius’ face.
