Olivia took a deep breath. She loved this, the magnificent cliffs with their windy heights, the beautiful ocean that stretched out as far as she could see and that delightful smell of sea air mixed with wild flowers, clearing her head with a fresh haze.
 

“If one of those stupid birds messes with my hair, those housemates of yours will never know what hit them!”

 “So, with anger issues, you mean that you don’t get angry? And that’s an issue?” James asked, frowning slightly. “Well that’s a first," he muttered, turning his attention back to his food.

 

“No, we are going to find something in this ruddy place,” Olivia exclaimed seriously, “even if I have to go through dozens of lacy, flowery, rainbow – puking dresses.”

“Strange,” James mused. “Anyone cares to explain why my broomstick is covered in little hearts?”

“You flew it around the Common Room yesterday,” Peter said. “And then you started flirting with some fourth year girls so I guess they did it.”

“Brilliant.” James scowled. “It’ll take me hours to get that rubbish off.”

 “How am I being weird?” Evan asked uncomfortably.

“You’re not following your usual system. Normally, you would’ve said that last comment loudly and then took a swig of your drink, but instead you whispered it only for me to hear. And you’re moving your arm so that it almost touches my shoulders.”

Yeah baby, come to mama!” Liz shouted, grinning excitedly as she fished a pair of binoculars from her bag. Olivia sighed weakly and covered her face in her hands. This was going to be a long match.

“It’s okay. We’re fine,” Remus murmured, his voice thick with worry. Olivia just nodded weakly and pressed her face against his chest, holding on to his collar as if it was a lifeline.
