She was suddenly grabbed from behind and pushed into a wall, she glared at her imposer as she managed to get a glimpse of their face. Her eyes narrowed once she realised who it was.

“Sirius.” She spat as she glowered at him. He smirked at her as he leaned towards her, his hands either side of her head against the wall, allowing her no way of escape. “Was I not clear earlier?”

“Professor,” A look of exasperation evident on her face. “you know how Bishop is!” Sydney looked around the corridor, students walking past the two slowly, attempting to listen in on their conversation. “She was standing over me and I accidently stood up too fast!” Sydney shook her head “It was a huge misunderstanding.”

She walked over to the gang of boys, leant on the table right next to James and Sirius and simpered.

“I hope there’s no hard feelings Potter?” she asked alluringly as he just stared at her, his mouth wide open. “Great.” She said grinning.

Miles Davies stood in front of her with a murderous glare on his face. Sydney had noticed however that Miles’ face was not as gorgeous as ever. A horrid black and blue bruise had inhabited Miles’ left eye and occupied his jawline and a large, scabbed graze had formed on his high cheekbone.

“Why don’t you watch where you’re going?” Miles snapped, furiously

Sydney opened and closed her mouth a few times, unable to find anything to come out.

Miles narrowed his eyes at the blonde, flushed girl.

“Are you still mopey about yesterday?”

“I was not moping about James Potter!” snapped Lily rather loudly, causing a few heads to turn. Her cheeks quickly became rather pink. She turned back to her pancakes and buried her flushed cheeks behind her flaming hair.

“Well I was talking about the fact you got an E in Care of Magical Creatures.” Sydney smirked as Lily glared at her.

“Morning Sleeping Beauty,” she said as she grinned.
 
Sydney pushed her hair from her face and rubbed her eyes,mascara transferred onto her hand as she did so “What?” she groaned unhappily. 
 
“Sleeping Beauty?” Lily questioned “A muggle fairytale thing.”

Sydney knew it was a bad idea, every inch of this forest seemed to be screaming at her to go back to her dorm and snuggle up under her warm duvet. However she feared that she was following her gut and in doing so had left her brain all snugly and warm up in her dorm. She heard a twig snap in the bushes causing her to whip her head around, almost giving herself whiplash in the process.

 James looked between the two, knowing the cat was out of the bag.

“You didn’t tell me any—” Sydney stopped herself as she rubbed her arm Sirius just grabbed, glaring at him. “You.” she seethed as pieces started to come together. She knew that dog had a vendetta against her. “You’re the dog.”

“Hallelujah, she’s got it.” Sirius spat

“It’s only creepy if you don’t like it, pet.”

“I do not like it.” She said venomously “and I’m not your ‘Pet’.”

“Is that so?” Sirius asked, his eyes flashing. Suddenly the playfulness gone.

“What do you think you’re doing?!” she hissed as to keep her voice to a minimum.

Sirius smirked and crossed his arms across his chest. “I was having a lovely chat about charms actually.” He teased. “Why? What were you talking about?”

Sydney punched his shoulder, hard.  Sirius only laughed playfully and stepped closer to her.
