“You don’t miss him do you?”

I scoffed at her, “He can get eaten by a bloody hippogriff for all I care.”

I had said this louder than I intended to and apparently at a break in their conversation because I felt eyes on me.

“I did not you are exaggerating,” he snapped.

I sighed, “You have a pensieve don’t you?”

He nodded but looked confused.

“Let’s go I’m going to give you some unaltered memories right from my head so you can finally admit how awful you are.”

“Why do they even bother to put ‘love’ anywhere in that letter they obviously hate me,” I sighed.

By this time Jade had arrived and she was still looking somber as she picked at her food, “I’m really sorry Lina.”

“You and me both,” I replied.

“Crabbe, Goyle, your surly fiancée, and I would like to come in Draco,” it was Blaise.

I smirked as I leaned over to unlock the compartment door then continued what I was doing. Whoever opened the door immediately shut it.

“Uhhhh wrong compartment,” Blaise said.

I blushed despite whatever was going on regarding him and I covered my eyes causing him to laugh.

A moment later he spoke, “I have pants on.”

“Thank merlin,” I couldn’t help but laugh myself as I went to get my make-up.

It was Lina and I was half dreading what she had to say but decided to play it off.

“No it’s Blaise I thought I would pop over and use Draco’s shower,” I replied.

She giggled, “Well Blaise when you see Draco tell him we need to talk.”

Jade and I returned but Draco wasn’t there.

“Where is he Blaise?” I asked instantly rounding on the poor guy.

Blaise’s eyes darted around and he bit his lip.

“Leave my own room?”

I nodded and smiled gently kissing him on the lips, “Please I will wrap your presents first then you can come back in.”

He sighed, “You are so hard to tell no.”

I glanced over at her face and she looked on the verge of tears.

“Don’t cry darling,” I kissed her forehead.

“How can this work Draco?” the tears began to fall, “How can we make this work? The fact we love each other isn’t going to get us through ever time like this.”

“Hey where’s Draco?”

“Anyone getting a sense of déjà vu?” asked Blaise.

Jade elbowed him, “He left Hogesmeade after only like an hour hun we thought he was back here with you.”

“This conversation is over I am going back to my dorm and wait for Jade,” I sighed, “You want to do me a favor get rid of Selene I am sick of seeing her face and obviously Jade is too.”

I had snapped the last part out of pure anger before storming back to my dorm.

“Morning,” she replied returning the smile, “So did you read his letter?”

I sighed, “You know it is very early in the morning to be annoying me this badly.”

She only chuckled, “I’m going to take that as a yes. So you’re going to respond right?”

“Again early morning and rising annoyance,” I took a large bite of my toast.

“Thanks,” I muttered to Draco as we got to the kitchens.

“Not a problem,” he replied smiling, “Uh if you don’t mind I think I’ll stay so I can walk you back no doubt he’s not gone.”

I just nodded before turning to the house elf that had come to greet us.

“Are you two alright?” Blaise asked handing Jade a container of food.

“Fine,” she choked out, “Just discussing blinding children.”

“What?!” Draco asked.

“She said that wrong,” I replied trying to overcome my own giggling, “She mean blindingly blonde children.”

“Fantastic exam wasn’t it?”

Blaise groaned, “How can you be so optimistic about that rubbish?”

“You’re girlfriend told me I needed to be happier,” I smiled.

“So how long will it really take you to get ready?” Draco smirked wriggling his eyebrows.

“The entire 3 hours,” I responded smirking back.

His look soured, “Seriously?”
