If you thought the Weasley's had a lot of kids you are sadly mistaken. The Wotters have nothing on us. There are 14 kids, including me. Yes, my parents had 14 children. Oh, and did I mention we're all named after Greek gods?

"Guess what Dem! It's my birthday!" He started bouncing up and down on my bed.


"Really? Well, if you don't get off of me you won't live to your next one."


"Mum says you can't kill me on my birthday."


"Don't you think it's sad that's really a rule,"

Athena and Hera both narrowed their eyes. "Your sass is neither needed nor wanted Demeter," they said.


"Sweet Merlin, there's two of them," Hermes whispered so only I could hear.

"I'm going to punch you in the face," I growled.


"Not another repeat of last year," Poseidon moaned.


"And the year before," James added.


"Ooh and the year before. That one was my favorite," Dom said.

"Because I worked out over the summer instead of binging on chocolate frogs and sleeping all day," I said.


"And what's wrong with that?" Al asked defensively.


"Nothing. If you don't mind being flabby."


"I'm not flabby!" he protested.

"Where's Caleb?" I asked noticing the absence of her date.


She looked around as if she'd just noticed he was gone, which she probably had. "Shoot, I'm pretty sure I left him in Honeydukes."

"Come on Dem, you know we love you, but you're going a bit overboard."


"Overboard? That's how losers talk!"

"Maybe," I mumbled. "I really do want him to be happy; I also want his stupid mystery girl to be hit by a train."


He laughed. "I don't think you want this girl to be hit by a train."

"It's not a date. Can a girl not wear something nice?"


"You put on a ball gown!"


"I wanted to explore all my options!"

"I don't want to see you two snogging."


"What about all the times I caught you and Dom," I fired back.


"Can we not talk about Zeus snogging my girlfriend?"


"Oh, I walked in on them doing more than snogging."


"Shut up, Demeter."

"Don't tell me that this is what I think this is," she gasped.


"I hear judgement in you voice," I sniffed, crossing my arms. "It's a perfectly normal thing to buy."


"Please tell me what is normal about buying a jumper for your cat!" She held up the tiny pink jumper.

"Are you hungry?"


"Always," I said.

"Dem," he rolled his eyes, "we can't just not talk about it and expect it to go away on its own."


"That'd be a whole lot easier."
