The Extreme Emotions are rulers, but also prisoners - until one blowout too many from Anger sets a chain of events into action that will forever intertwine the lives of the two groups, for better or much worse. The Mind will never be the same...

Emotions are supposed to only guide humans in their daily lives their effects on the human mind being felt, while only occasionally getting verbal input. When an accident in headquarters causes a preteen girl to hear the emotions inside her own head, she must adjust to this new phenomenon while going through the turmoil of her daily life.

Riley's life is at a high as she is looking forward to making new friends and her emotions are busy helping her achieve those goals, but, when Anger allows his rage to get the better of him and accidentally destroys the control panel, he must find a way to fix it before Riley's life goes from happiness to sadness.

"Everything is good in moderation..." Everything has consequences and that includes an Emotion's influence over their host's behavior! So when Riley's Emotions go into overdrive, how will this impact on her wellbeing? Both she and her Emotions will have to find that fine balance between necessity and excess...
