"Do you believe in a mother and a father, and a comfortable house and a comfortable street, because thats what you have?"

"No!" Cory interrupted ferverently. "I believe in a wonderful girlfriend, and an amazing best friend who will always be there for me and me for them, because that's what I have. Or at least, thats what I thought I had. But if you're choosing this 'Center' over that, then obviousl my belifs are just as flawed as yours." He shook his head. "I have somewhere to be."

"Cory." Shawn protested, grabbing his wrist.

Cory shook himself free. "Shawn." He said neutrally. "I really have somewhere to be. Have a nice 'Centered' life."

He stared helpfessly after Cory's retreating form.

"You don't need him." One of the girls said comfortingly. Another wrapped her arm around his waist.

"Yeah," He said quietly. "I think I do. Heaven help me if I know why, but I really, really do."

"Because you love him." Sharon said, as if it were obvious.

"What?!" He said incrediously, turning to look at her.

"You love him." She repeated. "It's obvious."

Reluctantly, the other two girls nodded.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're saying that I, Shawn Hunter, a guy, love Cory Matthews, my best friend, also a guy?"

"Um, yes?" Sharon said. "It's nothing to be ashamed of."

"Besides, he loves you too."

"Yeah," The other girl said, "Its actually kind of sweet, watching you two dancing around each other."

"We do not-"

"You do." Sharon said, nodding.

"But he's dating Topanga." Shawn protested.

Sharon smiled. "So? She'll understand."

"But-"

"Just think about it." One of the girls said. "You'll realize we're right."

Sharon kissed him on the cheek. "We'll be at the Center."
