"Why are you doing that now, Ty lee?" Mai asked.
Mai was throwing knifes at the tree in the courtyard of the Fire Nation place. She was wearing her training uniform, which was black shorts that went down to her knees, and a tight red T-shirt.
She was looking at her friend who was walking on her hands.
"Cause Azula told us to practice, duh" Ty lee replied.
"I really don't think walking on your hands is what Azula had in mind".
"It's harder then it looks"
"Sure"
"Fine you try it"
"Maybe some other time um… shouldn't Azula be back by now".
Mai quickly said not wanting to walk on her hands.
"Azula went to go get Zuzu or something now come on".
Mai sighed and walked over to Ty lee.
"Fine" she said.
Ty lee spun on her feet and grabbed Mai by the hand and pulled her in the open spot of the courtyard.
"Ok first tuck in your shirt" Ty lee ordered.
Mai sighed and tuck in her shirt.
"Ok now lay on the ground'.
Mai did just that and Ty lee lifted Mai legs up over her head.
After a minute Mai wanted down.
"Can we stop now Ty lee I feel all the blood rushing to my head".
"See it's harder then it looks isn't it" Ty lee stated proudly.
"No I just have to get back to practicing," Mai replied.
"Well if it's so easy lets see how you do without me holding you up".
Ty lee let go of Mai's legs and she wobbled at first.
She almost fell backwards but maintained her balance.
"See"
"Wow Mai your really good lets try walking," Ty lee piped.
Mai walked a few awkward steps then she got the hang of it.
Just then Zuko ran though the courtyard.
"Hi Mai, Hi Ty lee," Zuko shouted as he ran though the courtyard.
"Hi Prince, Ah". Mai lost her balance and fell flat on her face. Zuko was already though the courtyard, and in the place.
Ty lee cartwheeled over to Mai.
"See I do that around cute boys all the time it's harder then it looks" Ty lee said smugly.
"Shut up" Mai repiled.
Azula ran in the courtyard with flames in her hands.
"Where's Zuko, huh? Why are you on the ground Mai?"
"Because I can be," Mai replied dryly.
That was the last time Ty lee got Mai to do any acrobatic stunts.
