This is my one shot about what happens when our Weasley twins see Peter on the map
"Hey Gred."
"Yes, Forge."
"The map says Peter Pettigrew."
"Really?"
"Yes Forge he's with Ron."
"Wonder if Ron knows."
"Probably not."
"I know let's put a poster up asking for the marauders."
Fred and George went and made a poster asking to talk to one of the marauders. The next day a reply said meet me at the quidditch pitch
"Let's go Gred."
"Come on Forge."
A strange voice met them at the pitch, "So you must be Gred and Forge."
"We definitely are."
"So what is that you wanted me for?" he asked
"You map, but first tell us about the marauders," they chorused
"I am Messer Moony. Mr Prongs and Wormtail are dead, thanks to Mr Padfoot."
"Wow."
"So what do you want to know about the map?"
"It lied."
"The map never lies."
"It said Peter Pettigrew."
"Let me rephrase what I said earlier. I am Messer Moony. Mr Prongs is dead thanks to Mr Wormtail and Mr Padfoot has been sent to Azkaban over Mr Prongs and Wormtail's deaths. Mr Wormtail was a traitor. Mr Padfoot has escaped Azkaban."
"So that means Mr Padfoot is Sirius Black. Mr Wormtail is –"
"No longer a marauder," interrupted Moony
"And Mr Prongs is James Potter."
"And I am your DADA teacher, Remus Lupin."
"Oh my God. We know a marauder and a marauder son."
"Yes."
"Wow."
"Pass the map onto Prongslet."
"One more question,"
"What would that be?" asked Remus
"How have we never seen Peter?"
"He is your brothers' rat, now I'll see you in class tomorrow."
