The Big Day

"Mom!" Henry yells into the door, his knocks echoing on the sturdy oak. "Hey, mom, it's almost time. Are you ready? Lets go!"

"One more minute, Henry!" he hears his mom calling back to him.

"Mom, come on! Everyone else is ready to start!" Henry yells back eyeing the clock and pacing the floor.

Henry finally hears the turn of the lock and the sound of heavy door creaking open. He turns around to see his mother standing in the doorway wearing a simple silk lavender gown.

"Wow, mom, you look amazing!" Henry compliments her. The young man walks over to his mother and places a light kiss on her cheek.

"Thank you, Henry." she wraps her arm around her son's as they make their way down the hallway.

"I feel like a blimp" She complains. Her stomach and breasts are swollen making her dress fit a little snug.

"Well, mom, you are pregnant" Henry grins.

"A fat pregnant blimp" Regina scoffs.

He turns to face his mother so that he can look her in the eye. Henry wants her to know how serious he is when he says "You are the most beautiful woman in this whole town, mom. All those women out there are going to be so jealous the minute they see you walking down the isle. I promise." he wiped away a tear with his thumb. "I am so happy for you and so proud that you are my mom."

"Oh, Henry, I love you so much!" Regina grabs Henry and pulls him into a tight loving embrace. "You are the best son a mother could ever ask for."

The couple reached the end of the hall. The band began to play the bridal march. Regina looked up the isle to see the love of her life waiting. Her breath caught in her chest and her heart fluttered.

"You ready?" Henry asked.

"Absolutely"

Henry walked his mom to where Emma was standing. He placed Regina's hand in Emma's.

"Who gives this woman, Regina Mills, to Emma Swan, so that they may be united in marriage?" the preacher asked.

"I do" Henry responded with a smile. "I love you guys" then he walked to stand behind Emma as her best man.

In this moment, Henry Mills-Swan was the happiest he had ever been. He felt like the luckiest guy in the world. He had two incredible moms, who loved him more than their own lives and soon there would be a little baby brother or sister coming along, expanding their family. He couldn't wait to be a big brother.
