He opened his eyes; the first time in ten years.
He tried to stand, but his knees buckled under his weak body.
This body... Having been unused for such a long period of time, it didn't work as it used to.
Used to, he thought. The past...
What had happened?
How did he end up like this, in this place?
Who was... He?
He blinked at the sudden revelation - He didn't know who he was.
Furiously racking his brain, he searched for some kind of clue, a hint on his past life.
Nothing.
He knew a fragment of the memory existed, he could feel it.
But when he probed further, an emptyness overcame his wearied mind.

"So you have finally awakened from your slumber.."
A cloaked figure emerged from the shadows. He turned. "Who are... You?" He tested his voice. It seemed to be fine, at least.
The man smiled. "Come with me, back to my mansion. There, we will discuss matters."
He stood up with difficulty, leaning against a stone pillar heavily.
Seeing he had no other choice, he limped after the man, struggling to keep up with his brisk pace.
The growing list of questions in his mind remained unanswered.
